Agartala, December 16, 2022: As the 2023 assembly election is approaching, a trend of fracture among political parties is increasing dramatically. The devotees of Sudip Roy Barman have been working in Dharmanagar for a long time, and today there is no one left in Dharmanagar with a slogan of ‘Sudip Amar Bondhu’.

A total number of 1,936 electorates of the Congress party from 250 families left the grand old national party under the leadership of Swapan Talukder through a press conference on Friday.

They said that those who have struggled for the party in the Congress for a long time now have no place in this party. The Congress party is disintegrating due to the dominance of newcomers from other parties.

The condition of the Congress in the seven assembly constituencies of North Tripura district has demanded that the security of the Congress will be forfeited in all the seats. The elected office-bearers of the assembly constituencies numbering 54, 55, 56 and 57 left the Congress party.
