The competition will be held on the theme “Hepatitis-Free World.” Participants may write their essays in Bengali, Kokborok, or English, with a maximum word limit of 500 words. Organisers have clarified that there is no age limit, making the competition open to people from all sections of society.
A total of 100 participants will receive special gifts and certificates during a state-level programme to be held on the evening of July 28 at Rabindra Bhawan, Agartala.
Interested participants can submit their entries via email at hftinstripura@gmail.com or deliver them to the Hepatitis Foundation’s central office at Indranagar. The last date for submission is July 20.
Ahead of World Hepatitis Day, various branches of the Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura have already launched awareness programmes across the state to educate people about hepatitis prevention, early detection, and treatment. The Foundation hopes the essay competition will inspire wider public engagement in the fight against hepatitis.
