State records highest single day spike with 14 Covid positive cases

Agartala: May 03. In the last 24 hours, the highest spike of Covid positive cases was reported in the state. In the state, 14 people were found infected after testing the samples of 1065 people. The rate of infection has increased significantly over time. Currently the infection rate is 1.31 percent. The recovery rate can be said to be very low compared to the infected.

 Only three people have recovered from Corona in the last 24 hours. Among the newly infected people, the highest number of infections was seen in the South district. Eight people have been infected in 24 hours in South district, three in Unakoti district, one each in Dhalai district, Khowai district and North district.

The relief is that there are no new infections in West District and Sepahijala District. At present the active cases are 34. No death has been reported so far. The health administration is monitoring the physical condition of those who are infected. However, as the infection is already increasing, the health department is worried about the populated areas i.e. market, educational institutions and etc. No strict guidelines have been issued by the administration so far.
