Agartala: July 18. The Central government has sanctioned more 1.31 lakh houses for the state under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
On Facebook, former chief minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb said that Tripura is going to get more than 1 lakh 31 thousand more houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Deb today held meeting with Union Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Giriraj Singh.
“Today in meeting with Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh Ji expressed gratitude and thanks for always keeping a sincere eye on the welfare of Tripura. With the sincere attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and efforts of Giriraj Singh to every practical request from the establishment of BJP government in 2018 for the effective implementation of Awas Yojana, a record number of houses have been distributed in the state bringing partial relaxation to Tripura to provide these houses to the families who have tin houses”, he said
