State-Wide Spring Festival to be Held in Agartala on March 16: Mayor

Agartala, 25^th February 2025:   The much-anticipated state-wide Spring Festival will be held on March 16 at the BT College grounds in Agartala. This announcement was made by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumdar.

In preparation for the festival, a crucial meeting was convened today at the office of the District Magistrate of West Tripura district. The meeting was attended by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumdar, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar, and officials from various departments.

Addressing reporters after the meeting, Mayor Majumdar emphasized the significance of the festival, stating that it will showcase cultural programs representing all communities, including Bengalis and tribals. He highlighted that this is the first time such a festival is being organized in Tripura and stressed the need for all government departments and the Municipal Corporation to work diligently to ensure the event’s success and popularity among the public.

The Spring Festival is expected to be a grand celebration of Tripura’s diverse cultural heritage, bringing together different communities in a spirit of unity and festivity.
