State’s rural markets to shine with high-mast solar lights: Power Minister inspects Lefunga market

Agartala, 19th February 2025:   The Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency has launched an initiative to illuminate rural markets across the state by installing high mast solar lights. As part of this effort, Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath today visited several markets in the Lefunga block area, where the project is set to be implemented soon.

Speaking during his visit, the minister said, “With the installation of high mast solar lights, our tribal brothers and sisters will be able to conduct business even at night without any electricity expenses. This initiative will boost economic activity and ensure better facilities for traders and customers alike.”

The government aims to enhance rural connectivity and commerce through sustainable energy solutions, ensuring brighter and safer marketplaces without any financial burden on the people.
