Agartala, 27th May 2025:    Candidates who appeared for the 2022 STGT (Selection Test for Graduate Teachers) exam staged a protest outside Shiksha Bhavan today, urging the government to expedite the release of results and finalize the recruitment process. Frustrated by prolonged delays, the protesters appealed to Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha to take immediate action.

The demonstrators claimed that despite repeated appeals to the Chief Minister and other officials over the past several months, their concerns remain unaddressed. While the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) has published results for the TET (Teachers’ Eligibility Test) exam, STGT candidates continue to wait without clarity on their selection status.

Protesters further expressed concern that delays in the recruitment process could leave many candidates ineligible due to age restrictions. They urged the government to publish the results and complete the hiring process at the earliest to prevent further setbacks.
