Agartala, May 10, 2023: The police recovered the stolen bike from Nandannagar area within 24 hours after the complaint was lodged with NCC police station here. Police arrested the thief identified as Rubel Miah with the motorcycle.
Based on the complaint of the owner of the bike, the police conducted a raid and recovered the bike. Bike thief Rubel Miah was arrested from Natunbazar area.
Bike owner Mangal Debbarma is happy with the police action in recovering the stolen bike. The bike bearing registration number TR07-8145 was stolen from behind FCI Godown on Sunday last. The Bike owner Mangal Debbarma is an employee of the Education department.
On the other hand, NCC Police has arrested the main accused in the case of his theft of copper from GB Hospital. The arrested thief’s name is Bhanu Debnath.
SDPO of NCC police station Paramita Pandey said that success has come in both cases after seeing the CCTV footage. However, the police got several information after interrogating the main accused Bhanu Debnath in his copper theft case in GB.
Accordingly, Maharajganj Bazar businessman Dipankar Basak was arrested for purchasing stolen goods. It is possible to recover some items from his shop.
