Stolen scooter recovered by Battala police

Agartala, 7th November 2024:   Battala police outpost OC Shubhajit Deb successfully recovered a scooter that had been stolen 10-12 days back from the area adjacent to Battala Dashmi Ghat. The recovery took place near the Mahavir Club close to Dasami Ghat.

According to OC Shubhajit Deb, the scooter bearing the registration number TR01AW-9832 was stolen from the Amtali police station area on October 23. During a routine patrol on Wednesday night, Battala police outpost spotted the scooter abandoned in the forest. Upon closer inspection, OC Deb identified the scooter by its number plate and confirmed it was the stolen vehicle.

“The recovered scooter has been handed over to its rightful owner,” stated OC Deb. The successful recovery highlights the diligence and effectiveness of the Battala police in addressing theft and ensuring the return of stolen property to its owners.
