Agartala, 19th July 2026: Tripura Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Sunday stressed that a robust organisational structure remains the cornerstone of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) continued success. He urged party workers to strengthen booth-level committees and work in unison to expand the party’s reach across the state.
The minister participated in a series of organisational meetings organised under the BJP’s Panchayat-level Meeting campaign in the Majlishpur Assembly constituency of West Tripura district. The initiative is aimed at reinforcing the party’s grassroots network and enhancing coordination among local leaders and workers.
During the programme, Chowdhury interacted with elected Panchayat representatives, booth presidents, party office-bearers, and grassroots workers from Krishnanagar and West Majlishpur Gram Panchayats. The discussions centred on improving organisational efficiency at the booth level, intensifying public outreach, and ensuring that the benefits of various Central and State Government welfare schemes reach every eligible household.
Addressing the gathering, the minister reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”, while highlighting the importance of Antyodaya, the principle of prioritising the welfare of the most disadvantaged sections of society.
He called upon party workers to remain united, deepen engagement with local communities, and further strengthen the BJP’s organisational base to build greater public confidence.
The Panchayat-level meetings are part of the BJP’s ongoing statewide organisational drive to reinforce its grassroots presence and improve public connect across Tripura.
