Agartala, September 11, 2023: The Jagabandhu Para Class XII school in Gandacherra is plagued with various problems and the biggest problem is teacher shortage. Due to the shortage of teachers, the reading of the school has increased. Therefore, the students of the school blocked the Gandacherra-Jagabandhu Para road to demand several demands, including the appointment of teachers on Monday morning.
Students complain that Jagabandhu Para Class XII school has no English teacher for four months. It is disrupting their studies. The annual examination of students is going to start soon. Due to this, the reading of the school has become a stick.
They also complained that the school is facing various problems. The school does not have enough rooms for the students to eat mid-day meal. Moreover, the Jagabandhu Para road has been in a dilapidated state for five long years.
Therefore, this morning, the students of the school are sitting on this blockade with the aim of obtaining several demands including the appointment of teachers with speed.
Later, high-ranking officials of the administration, including the DCM, rushed to the spot and interacted with them. Later, the students withdrew the road blockade.
