Agartala, June 26, 2023: Animal Resource Development, Fisheries and SC Welfare minister Sudhangshu Das on Monday inaugurated the annual prize-giving ceremony organized by Art Society at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan here.
While speaking to media personnel on the sidelines of this ceremony, Minister Das encouraged students to develop a lot of knowledge depending on the arts they work on.
“And I personally think that students should have extra-curricular activities along with their studies so that they can enrich themselves as well as their human development. So these art or extra activities are very much needed by the students”, he added.
Bishalgarh’s MLA Sushanta Deb, Government Arts and Craft College’s Principal Abhijit Bhattacharjee and Prof Debbrata Das were present in this ceremony. As many as 1800 students were awarded with prizes.
