Agartala, 14th June 2025: In a bid to bring the message of development and good governance to the grassroots, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today organized the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Fatikroy Bazar under the Fatikroy Mandal. The event aimed to highlight the major milestones achieved during the 11-year tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and to renew the pledge towards building a developed India.
ARD, Fisheries and SC Welfare minister Sudhangshu Das was the chief guest at the event. Addressing a large gathering of party workers, supporters, and local residents, the minister lauded the Modi government’s consistent focus on pro-poor, service-oriented, and transparent governance.
“India has gained a new direction under the leadership of Prime Minister Modiji in the last 11 years. Service, good governance, and poor welfare have been the three guiding principles. From the remotest villages to global platforms, India’s stature has grown significantly,” Das said.
Citing flagship schemes, Minister Das underscored the impact of major initiatives like *Digital India, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Ujjwala Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Ghar Prakash Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana and Ayushman Bharat. He emphasized that these programs have directly reached and benefited the last person in society.
“Each of these schemes has touched the lives of millions. The journey of the past 11 years is not just historical but transformational in every sense,” he added.
As part of the Yatra, pamphlets detailing central schemes were distributed, and interactive sessions were held to engage the public and create awareness about ongoing development efforts. The program also reaffirmed the vision of a future-ready, self-reliant India.
“These 11 years are not just about governance,” Das concluded, “but about empowering every citizen on the path of development. With Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, we are confident that India will emerge as a fully developed and self-reliant nation.”
The event was attended by local BJP leaders, mandal workers, and a large number of citizens, signaling strong grassroots support and public interest in the BJP’s development narrative.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues to be conducted across different parts of Tripura, reinforcing the message of inclusive progress and national transformation.
