Agartala, August 02: The Commander of 57 Mountain Artillery Brigade stationed in Lichubagan Brigadier Nilesh Choudhury has been shouldering responsibilities in Tripura and the entire North-Eastern region for several years. Recently, this Indian Army officer has been transferred to New Delhi from the Eastern Command. He is set to depart Tripura on Wednesday afternoon.
Prior to leaving for his new assignment, Brigadier Nilesh Choudhury paid a courtesy visit to his colleague Colonel Manoj Shetty and had a cordial meeting with Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury at the Civil Secretariat here. During his tenure as the Minister of ICA department Chowdhury had developed a friendly and amicable relationship with the then Indian Army officer, Brigadier Nilesh Choudhury.
At that time, Sushanta Choudhury who was then the Minister of ICA department had attended several events of the Indian Army as an invitee on the invitation of Brigadier Nilesh Choudhury, Today, on his farewell day, the Tourism minister praised Brigadier Nilesh Choudhury’s work and wished him good health and a bright future. He also extended an invitation to Brigadier Choudhury to visit Tripura again during his leisure time.
