3794 students appear for ‘Bachar Bachao’ examinations for Class X and XII

Agartala, August 02, 2023: The ‘Bachar Bachao’ examinations for Secondary and Higher Secondary levels have commenced from Wednesday across 27 centers in the state. Agartala city has two examination centers – Kamini Kumar Vidyalaya and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bidyaniketan.

The exams will run until August 11. Students who have passed in one or two subjects in the Secondary level but achieved a total of 150 marks are eligible to sit for the exams. A total of 3,794 students will appear for the Secondary level exams.

Additionally, 23 Standard students are also taking part in the exams. These students, who passed in the previous year in basic subjects, have chosen to participate in the upcoming exams. Moreover, 4,185 Higher Secondary students are appearing for the exams, distributed across 27 centers.

Dr. Dulal De, the Secretary of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education, expressed that this year’s “Save the Year” examinations have instilled extensive enthusiasm among the students of Tripura.
