Agartala, December 18, 2023: Food minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Monday underscored the pivotal role of government employees in the success of any administration. In a significant event held at the Secretariat’s meeting room No. 2 on Monday afternoon, job offers to 37 candidates selected through the Joint Recruitment Board Tripura (JRBT) for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) positions within the Food Department were distributed.
During the ceremony, Minister Chowdhury emphasized the indispensable contribution of public servants to the effectiveness of the government. He handed over the job offers to the newly appointed personnel, urging them to approach their roles with honesty, efficiency, and sincerity. Minister Chowdhury highlighted the importance of proving competence in their careers and developing self-leadership skills, regardless of their specific positions within the Food Department.
Addressing the transparency of the recruitment process, Minister Chowdhury stated that the state government is committed to providing jobs to deserving candidates through JRBT while adhering to all norms and guidelines. He acknowledged that the recruitment process took some time but assured that it was conducted with transparency.
In addition to encouraging the new appointees to deliver public services with transparency, Minister Chowdhury emphasized the vital role played by Food Department employees in maintaining the integrity of the public distribution system. He congratulated the newly appointed personnel and expressed his best wishes for their successful careers.
The event saw contributions from key figures in the Food Department, including Ravel Hemendra Kumar, Special Secretary of the Department, Nirmal Adhikari, Additional Secretary and Director of the Department. They also spoke on the significance of the new recruits’ roles in the Food Department and extended their congratulations and well-wishes for a prosperous future.
