Agartala, 13th September 2025: A young man was injured in a reported firing incident by the Border Security Force (BSF) at the Putiya border area in Boxanagar on Saturday. The individual, identified as Kabir Hossain, is currently undergoing treatment at GBP Hospital in Agartala.
According to medical sources, Hossain sustained bullet injuries during an alleged smuggling attempt near the Indo-Bangladesh border. He was initially rushed to the Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital, where doctors provided emergency care. Following preliminary treatment, he was referred to GBP Hospital for advanced medical attention.
