Agartala, 28th November 2025: . Under the Swabalamban project, loan applications of 93 beneficiaries from West Tripura district have been approved in the current financial year, according to the District Industries and Commerce Office.
Of these, 58 beneficiaries are from Sadar subdivision, 17 from Mohanpur, and 18 from Jirania. Together, they are set to receive loans amounting to ₹4.14 crore.
So far, loans worth Rs 68.54 lakh have already been disbursed to 13 individuals. Officials said the scheme aims to promote self-reliance by supporting small entrepreneurs and local business initiatives across the district.
