Agartala: April 10. The evaluation of answer sheets of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary exams will start from the fourth week of April, said TBSE President Dr Bhabatosh Saha. Speaking with reporters, Dr Saha said that the board exams conducted by TBSE is going on peacefully and many exams have been completed for the secondary school.
“The vocational exam will be held on April 18. Similarly, higher secondary vocational examination will be held on April 19. Before this, computer and music exams of higher secondary will be held on April 17. The work of packing of answer sheets is going on at a fast pace”, he said. He said that this time an examiner will look at least 18 copies a day. The evaluation of answer sheets will start from the fourth week of April. “But there is some ambiguity about the venues.
Because the schools will be open when the answer sheet evaluation starts in April. We generally take eight schools for evaluating answer sheets. In this situation, schools have to close for about 20 days. To solve this problem, the TBSE authorities met with the Chief Minister who is also Education Minister. The Chief Minister offered to visit to alternative venues and accordingly we visited the international fair ground at Hapania”, said Saha. Dr Saha said that if the entire rent is waived, it will be possible to finalize the venue. Otherwise, there will be no alternative option. The list of examiners is yet to be published. The board president said that it will be final after checking the district education official list.
