Agartala, July 18, 2022: Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) started distribution of marksheets and certificates from July 15 last and assured of errorless in this task, but the board created confusion among the HS+2 qualifiers by putting the year of Madhyamik passing out year.

In this regard, TBSE authorities on Monday evening conducted a press conference and reached a clarification mentioning that as students passed out Madhyamik in various years had appeared in the HS+2 examination, this confusion has erupted and resulted to minor mistakes.

Speaking to reporters here, TBSE Secretary Dr Dulal Dey said “With the permission of the Board’s President Dr Bhabatosh Saha, the confusion created among students, teachers and guardians will be sorted out within four to five days by correcting the marksheets.”

Explaining the trouble faced, he said “A section of candidates appeared in the HS+2 examination giving gap of few years after passing out Madhyamik examination. To enroll those students, we have put the year of passing Madhyamik examination for easy access to our database, but this had created confusion among the students, teachers and guardian across the state. Hence, we have decided to change this with the year of registration of all those students who appeared for the Board examination of HS+2 in 2022.”
