TBSE releases final merit list for Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations

Agartala, 13th June 2025 :   The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has officially released the final merit list for this year’s Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations following the completion of the re-evaluation process. The announcement was made by TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury at a press conference held at the Board’s conference hall today.

Dr. Chowdhury stated that 20 students secured positions in the top 10 rankings of the Higher Secondary Examination. Joydeep Rudra Pal secured the first position with an impressive score of 493 marks, followed by Saptadeepa Nath, who attained 492 marks. The third position was shared by Ishita Sen and Raktim Debnath, both scoring 490 marks.

In the Higher Secondary category, Tanushree Saha secured the fourth position with 489 marks, while the fifth position was shared by Anamika Debnath, Kriti De, Arnab Basak and Tapas De, each scoring 488 marks. Trisha Das claimed the sixth position with 487 marks, followed by Swarnali Debnath, Tusha Pal and Tania Khatun, who secured seventh place with 486 marks. In eighth place, Deepa Sarkar, Mithu Nath, Munni Begum and Reshmi Roy achieved 485 marks, while Debalina Debnath and Karan Karmakar took ninth place with 484 marks. Priya Saha rounded out the top ten achievers with 483 marks.

TBSE Secretary Dulal Dey announced that in the Madhyamik examination, 25 students were listed in the top 10 rankings. Antriksa Pal secured the first position with 490 marks, while Indrani Bhowmik came second with 489 marks. The third spot was shared by Sumit Debnath and Amit Das, both securing 488 marks.

Among the top achievers in the Madhyamik Examination, Dipjoy Pal secured the fourth position with 486 marks. The fifth position was shared by Anirban Debnath, Isha Datta, Bishal Sen, Adrita Ghosh and Tulika Chowdhury, each scoring 485 marks. In sixth place, Priyam Debnath, Sushmita De and Dipshikha Karmakar achieved 484 marks. Debajit Sarkar claimed the seventh position with 483 marks, while the eighth position was secured by Bithi Singh, Deepjoy Sutradhar, Karnili Debbarma, and Devi Sen, all earning 482 marks. Drishti Debnath, Mrinmayee Deb and Anwesha Biswas took the ninth spot with 481 marks and rounding off the top ten were Anushka Rudra Pal, Amartya Das, Rishita Purkayastha, and Anirban Chakraborty, each scoring 480 marks.

The final merit list was delayed as many students had applied for re-evaluation, which led to changes in their marks. TBSE officials confirmed that the publication of the final rankings was done after all re-evaluations and necessary procedures were completed.

Dr. Chowdhury remarked, “This year’s students have demonstrated remarkable academic excellence, and we congratulate them on their achievements. The Board remains committed to ensuring fairness and accuracy in the evaluation process.”
