Agartala, 3rd May 2025: A teacher of Brajapur High School sustained injuries after falling off a motorcycle while traveling home this afternoon at the Jangalia area of Bishalgarh.
The injured teacher identified as Nayan Tara Begum, daughter of Abdul Hashim and a resident of Joypur in Agartala was riding her colleague’s motorcycle registration number TR01AN8972 after school dismissal when the accident took place.
According to local sources, while en route to Agartala, she lost control near Jangalia and fell, sustaining severe injuries. Witnesses immediately alerted the Fire department, which arrived promptly and transported her to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for medical attention.
Upon receiving the information, personnel from Bishalgarh police station reached the accident site and initiated necessary procedures.
Further investigations are underway to determine the circumstances leading to the mishap.
