Agartala, December 20, 2023: In a fervent plea for appointment, aspirants who successfully passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in 2022 gathered outside the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday. This move follows previous attempts by unemployed youth to secure employment, including meetings with state ministerial members, which proved futile.
Despite multiple endeavours to meet the Chief Minister, the aggrieved youth faced repeated setbacks. Undeterred, on Wednesday, they besieged the Chief Minister’s residence in an effort to draw attention to their cause. However, their attempts were thwarted by security personnel responsible for safeguarding the Chief Minister’s premises.
Expressing their frustration, the TET 2022 qualified individuals emphasized their desire to understand the government’s stance on their employment status. Regrettably, even after persistent efforts, they reported receiving no satisfactory response following their meeting with the Chief Minister.
The situation highlights the mounting concerns of the TET 2022 qualified youth as they continue to advocate for attention to their plight amid the ongoing employment uncertainty.
