Agartala, December 20, 2023: In a ceremonial event at the Office of the Registrar of Cooperative Office, a total of 52 individuals selected for cooperative positions and 5 for Minority Welfare office were handed offer letters. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Shukla Charan Noatia, Minister of the Cooperative department, and other dignitaries.
Minister Noatia personally presented the offer letters, including one to a Divyangan woman who was among the recipients. Speaking to reporters here, Minister Shukla Charan Noatia underscored the positive impact of recent changes in the recruitment policy, emphasizing its benefits for the unemployed population in the state. The distribution encompassed group-C positions within the Cooperative Department and the Minority Department.
Simultaneously, at Secretariat’s Conference Hall No. 3, a parallel ceremony unfolded where offer letters were bestowed upon 8 individuals securing positions as Lower Division Clerks (LDC) in the Transport Department. Transport Minister Sushant Chowdhury, Department Secretary U.K. Chakma, Transport Department Commissioner Subrata Chowdhury, and other officials were in attendance.
Minister Sushant Chowdhury, personally handing over the offer letters, expressed the indispensable role of government employees in the success of projects. He stressed the significance of efficient work, especially among LDCs, in ensuring the smooth functioning of offices. Acknowledging the influx of highly educated individuals into the LDC positions, the Minister encouraged government employees to work diligently, preventing inconvenience to the general public.
