TGB upgrades Poangbari, Harina branches with modern facilities

Agartala, 9th April 2026:    Tripura Gramin Bank has inaugurated newly renovated branches at Poangbari and Harina, marking a significant step towards enhancing modern banking infrastructure and customer services in the state.

The upgraded Poangbari branch was inaugurated by the bank’s Chairman, Satyendra Singh, who highlighted the institution’s commitment to adopting advanced infrastructure and delivering improved customer experiences. The event was attended by Regional Manager (South) Payel Saha, Branch Manager Rahul Debnath, along with bank officials and customers.

In a similar development, the Harina branch was also reopened after renovation, with Chairman Satyendra Singh inaugurating the upgraded facility. The programme was attended by Deputy Inspectorate of Schools (Rupaichari) Anita Das, Regional Manager Payel Saha, and Branch Manager Saptarshi Majumder, among others.

According to bank officials, the renovation of both branches includes modern amenities and improved infrastructure aimed at ensuring efficient, customer-friendly banking services. The initiative is part of the bank’s broader strategy to create future-ready branches while strengthening its outreach across rural and semi-urban areas.

Officials said the back-to-back inaugurations reflect the bank’s continued focus on modernization, customer convenience, and inclusive growth, while reaffirming its commitment to serving the people of Tripura with enhanced facilities.
