Agartala, August 11, 2023: Vanamahotsav, a celebration of afforestation, was fervently observed on Friday through the proactive efforts of the Tripura Government Employees Federation at Jackson Gate, Agartala. The occasion saw the plantation of 75 saplings within the premises of Khudiram Bose English Medium School, orchestrated by the federation.
Distinguished attendees, including BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharya and Agartala Municipal Council Mayor Dipak Majumder, graced the event. These esteemed guests took a hands-on approach by personally planting the saplings as a symbolic gesture.
Highlighting the significance of the event, the State BJP President emphasized that the Prime Minister had announced a series of programs leading up to Independence Day. As a testament to this commitment, 75 saplings were ceremoniously planted through the collective initiative of the dedicated employees. The saplings were strategically placed across various locations within the Banamalipur assembly constituency area, as part of the broader program.
