Agartala, 28th May 2025: The 10th Annual General Meeting of the Tripura Government Pensioners Association (TGPA) Ramnagar Zone was held today at the organization’s office in Ujjayanta Market here. The gathering emphasized the association’s ongoing struggle anchored in a set of 23-point demands reaffirming its commitment to pensioners’ rights.
Addressing the meeting, TGPA General Secretary Badal Baidya highlighted the significance of the association’s movement, highlighting its unwavering stance on ensuring welfare and benefits for retired government employees.
A special segment of the event was dedicated to honoring the five senior-most members of the zone for their long-standing contributions. Those felicitated included Sujit Ranjan Datta, Satish Chandra Ghosh, Niharendu Majumdar, Shipra Mukherjee and Archana Chowdhury.
In the meeting, the TGPA central committee first vice president Haran Majumdar, Secretary Madhusudan Chakraborty, Publicity Secretary and Secretary of the association’s mouthpiece Prabin, Prabir Sarkar and others were present.
