Agartala, 16th January 2025: In a brazen daylight robbery, a gang of thieves broke into a house in Karilong Shishu Bihar exploiting the absence of the homeowner. The culprits made off with a 1 ‘Bhori’ of gold ornaments and Rs 10,000 in cash.
The incident took place yesterday evening when carpenter Dulal Sutradhar and his family were attending a function. Upon their return at around 7 pm, they discovered the lock on their door broken. Upon entering the house, they found it ransacked with the thieves having absconded with invaluable gold and cash.
The theft has created a significant stir in the Karilong Shishu Bihar community. Police from Teliamura police station swiftly arrived at the scene and have commenced their investigation into this bold crime.
