Tinku Roy reviews activities of SW&SE, Labour & YAS depts of North Tripura district

Agartala, May 25, 2023: Labour and Social Welfare & Social Education minister Tinku Roy on Thursday said that the common people should be made more aware about various welfare schemes of social welfare and social education and labor department. More publicity should be given to the projects and only then common people can take advantage of these schemes, he added.

While chairing a review meeting of North Tripura district level Social Welfare and Social Education, Labour and Youth Affairs and Sports Departments at the conference hall of District Magistrate’s office, Roy discussed the progress of implementation of various projects of social welfare and social education, labor department and youth affairs and sports department.

In the review meeting, North Tripura Zilla Parishad’s Sabhadipati Bhabatosh Das, District Magistrate Nagesh Kumar B, Additional District Magistrate L Darlong, Dharmanagar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Vivek HB, Kanchanpur Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rahul Modi, CMO Dr. Arunabh Dasgupta along with officials of various departments were present.

Youth Affairs and Sports minister Tinku Roy on Thursday handed over the keys of 3 vans for Jampuihill, Dasada and Damcherra Common Service Centres. The project is being implemented by North Tripura District Mission Management Unit of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission as part of Digital India programme. Managment of mobile common service center is entrusted to one village organization under respective blocks.
