It is a constitutional demand as the tribal people are deprived for several decades. We want a solution for 13 lakh Tiprasas and 15 lakh tribal people. Secondly, the ruling party shared many thoughts in private and supported our demands, but this they have to make a public statement. Thirdly, the supreme authority is the central government led by Prime Minister, a state’s Tribal Welfare minister Rampada Jamatia will not take the final call. Hence, minister Jamatia will not decide as the decision is to be taken by the people of Tripura.”
