Agartala, 4th May 2026: The TIPRA Motha Party has announced its leadership choices for the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), with Bhabha Ranjan Reang selected as the new Chairman and Runeil Debbarma appointed as the Chief Executive Member (CEM).
According to party insiders, a meeting of all newly elected MDCs was convened at Rajbari, Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala. The session was conducted through video conferencing and chaired by Pradyot Bikram Manikya, the party’s founder.
During the meeting, MDCs reached a unanimous decision on key posts for the upcoming term of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council. Along with the top two positions, C. K. Jamatia was also chosen as an Executive Member.
Senior leaders, including Minister Brishaketu Debbarma and MLAs S. Ranjit Debbarma and Biswajit Debbarma, attended the gathering and congratulated the newly selected leaders. They expressed confidence that the new council leadership would continue developmental efforts and welfare initiatives in the ADC regions.
The official election for Chairman and CEM is scheduled for May 5 at the TTAADC Council Bhavan in Khumulwng. The oath-taking ceremony is planned for May 6, 2026, at the Nuai Auditorium Hall, Khumulwng.
