Agartala: September 21. The Trinamool Chatra Parishad today staged protest in front of the Shiksha Bhawan protesting the dire straits of the education system in the state.

Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress in-charge Rajeev Banerjee, Pradesh Trinamool Congress leader Pujan Biswas, Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Students Council in-charge Neel Kamal Saha, student leader Shibam Saha and other leaders were present on the day.

In-charge Rajeev Banerjee said, “Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Chatra Parishad today protested in front of the Shiksha Bhawan because there is extreme anarchy in the education sector in the state. Teachers have not been appointed for a long time and the wrong appointment of teachers by the Left Front is still being continued by this government”.

He also alleged that the schools across the state are facing severe crisis of students.“In some places it was seen that the infrastructures of schools are in very bad condition, the kind of mid day meal that is being given to the students is not fit for consumption. What is the secret behind this! If today’s demands are not met, we will take bigger steps in the future”, he said.
