TPJA to hosts Photo Exhibition on World Photography Day

Agartala, August 18– In celebration of World Photography Day on August 19, photographers from around the world are gearing up for various programs to commemorate the art and science of photography.

One such remarkable event is set to unfold in the state, where the Tripura Photojournalists Association is organizing a captivating photo exhibition centered around tourist destinations and potential sites for tourism development.

The event is scheduled to take place in the prestigious Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan, and the honor of inaugurating the exhibition will be bestowed upon Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

The exhibition, a culmination of creative prowess and vision, is expected to showcase a diverse collection of 70 photographs, each capturing the essence and allure of tourist centers within Tripura.

At a press conference held at the Agartala Press Club on Friday, Abhishek Saha, the General Secretary of the Tripura Photojournalists Association, enthusiastically shared the details of the event with the media. He revealed that the exhibition is not only a tribute to the art of photography but also a tribute to the potential of Tripura as a tourist destination.

Joining Saha at the press conference were prominent figures of the association, including its President Praloyjit Pal and other esteemed members.
