Agartala, 9th April 2026: A horrific accident occurred in Hejamara as supporters of Tipra Motha candidate Rabindra Debbarma were returning from a rally. Two people died at the scene, while 12 others sustained serious injuries.
According to reports, the victims were returning from a party program when the vehicle met with the accident. The Fire and Emergency Services quickly rescued the injured and rushed them to Hejamara Primary Hospital.
The hospital authorities said that out of the 12 injured, two were in critical condition and were immediately referred to GB Hospital. Despite efforts, both critical patients succumbed to their injuries. The remaining injured were provided initial treatment at Hejamara Primary Hospital before being referred to GB Hospital for further care.
Upon receiving the news, Tipra Motha candidate Rabindra Debbarma visited the hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured.
The incident has sent shockwaves across the local community, and authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
