Agartala, 22nd November 2023 : In a heart-wrenching incident in Thakurchara Bazar area of Jolaibari under Shantir Bazar sub-division, a collision between a bike and a cargo truck has resulted in the untimely demise of 19-year-old Sagar Nandi. The incident occurred on the national highway, leaving the local community in shock and grief.
Sagar Nandi, the son of Amal Nandi and a resident of Thakurchhara, was riding his bike with registration number TR 08E8409 when tragedy struck. A cargo truck collided with his bike, resulting in a fiery accident that claimed the young life. The collision was so intense that the bike caught fire, and many parts of Sagar Nandi’s body were tragically buried in the wreckage. Upon receiving the distressing news, the Jolaibari fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot to rescue Sagar Nandi. However, despite their efforts, the young man was beyond saving, and he was promptly transported to Jolaibari Social Health Center. At the health center, the attending doctor declared Sagar Nandi dead, marking a somber moment for the community and his grieving family.
