Agartala, 25th December 2024: A tragic incident took place in the Palatana area, casting a shadow of grief over the community. An electrical worker named Rupak Saha mysteriously died while working on an electrical project in the Takajala area.
It is reported that, Rupak Saha was working under a contractor when the ladder he was using suddenly collapsed, causing him to fall. His colleagues immediately rushed him to the Bishalgarh subdivisional Hospital, where the doctor on duty deemed his condition critical and referred him to GB Hospital. Unfortunately, Rupak Saha succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at GB Hospital.
The sudden and tragic death of Rupak Saha has left the community in mourning, highlighting the need for stringent safety measures for workers in hazardous environments.
