Agartala: September 28. In a heart-wrenching incident today at approximately 3:30 pm, a young man in Belonia’s Rajib Corner area fell victim to a fatal road accident.
Eyewitnesses immediately alerted the local fire brigade, who promptly arrived at the scene and rescued the injured individual. Despite their efforts, the young man was pronounced dead upon arrival at Belonia Hospital.
Preliminary reports indicate that the incident occurred when a goods truck bearing the registration number TR 031868 was en route from Kalinagar to Rajib corner. Simultaneously, the unfortunate victim was traveling in the opposite direction, fwhen he came into contact with the truck.
Police have swiftly launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic accident. The truck involved in the incident has been impounded, though the driver is currently at large.
As of now, the identity of the deceased youth remains unknown. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident or the victim’s identity to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
