Agartala, October 11, 2023:   In a devastating incident, a 64-year-old man lost his life after being struck by a train in the vicinity of the Teliamura railway station, Trishabari.

Upon receiving this distressing report, local law enforcement sprang into action, swiftly recovering the deceased’s body and arranging for a post-mortem examination at the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital.

The incident, which transpired at approximately 11:30 PM the previous night, was promptly relayed to the railway police. Their officers were alerted to the tragic occurrence: an individual fatally struck by a train on the railway tracks within the Lakai Bazar area, near the Teliamura railway station.

Upon reaching the scene, the diligent police investigation revealed the identity of the victim, who was identified as Agunia Debbarma, a resident of the affected area. According to Debbarma’s grieving family, he earned his livelihood as a daily labourer and bore the primary responsibility of supporting his household.
