Agartala, 28th February 2025: A woman was tragically killed by a train this morning in the Binapani area near Jirania railway station. The incident has caused a stir throughout the railway station area. Upon receiving the news, police rushed to the scene and recovered the body, which has been sent for post-mortem examination.
It is reported that the local residents found the body while out for a morning walk along the Jirania railway line. They immediately informed the Government Railway Police (GRP). The police arrived promptly and sent the body for post-mortem.
The deceased has been identified as Phul Kumari Debbarma, a resident of Harijoy Chowdhury Para. Her husband’s name is Subal Debbarma. The reason behind her apparent suicide is still unknown, and the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
