Tripura Board of Secondary Education: HS+2 Exams from February 24, Madhyamik from February 25

Agartala, 13th February 2025:    The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has almost completed preparations for the upcoming Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations 2025. Today, TBSE Secretary Dulal Dey shared important updates regarding the examination arrangements.

The Higher Secondary Examination is set to commence on February 24, 2025, with the English paper, while the Secondary Examination will begin a day later, on February 25, 2025, also with English as the first subject.

Speaking to reporters, TBSE Secretary Dulal Dey assured that all necessary steps have been taken to ensure smooth and fair examinations across the state. “This year, we have set up 145 venues and 68 centers for the Secondary Examination, while 95 venues and 60 centers have been designated for the Higher Secondary Examination,” he stated.

For Class 12 students, the examinations will begin on February 24, 2025, with English as the first paper and will conclude on March 22, 2025, with vocational subjects. Major subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Accountancy are scheduled throughout March. The exams will be held from 12:00 noon to 3:15 p.m., except for Music and vocational subjects, which will end at 1:15 p.m.

Similarly, for Class 10 students, the exams will start on February 25, 2025, with English and end on March 18, 2025, with vocational subjects. Social Science, Science, and Mathematics are among the key subjects scheduled in early March. The examination duration varies, with most subjects being held from 12:00 noon to 3:15 p.m., while some, like Social Science and Science, have different timings.

Dey further mentioned that some students have yet to submit their examination applications. “Those who missed the online application deadline will now get another chance to submit their forms,” he said, emphasizing the board’s commitment to ensuring that no student is left out.

Currently, extensive work is underway at the TBSE office to address various examination-related matters. The board authorities are making every effort to provide a peaceful environment for candidates. “We are focused on conducting the exams in a disciplined manner so that students can perform to the best of their abilities,” Dey added.

With all preparations nearing completion, TBSE is set to conduct the 2025 examinations efficiently, ensuring a fair and secure process for all students.
