Agartala, 16th September 2024: In a time-honored tradition, the Tripura Gauchia Association organized a grand rally on Monday to celebrate Miladunnabi, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). The event held on Eid saw enthusiastic participation from the community.
The rally commenced from the Indranagar Gauchia Jame Masjid with participants marching through various routes across the city. The procession concluded back at the mosque marking a day of unity and reverence.
Reflecting on the significance of the day, it is noteworthy that over one and a half thousand years ago, Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was born in Mecca, Arabia. This annual rally serves as a reminder of his teachings and the enduring legacy he left behind.
