Tripura Government Issues Major Transfer and Posting Order for IAS and TCS Officers

Agartala, 16th November 2025:  The Government of Tripura has issued a major reshuffle involving several IAS and TCS officers across various departments, with the transfers taking immediate effect. The order was released by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department.

According to the notification, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Jampuijala has been reassigned to lead the state’s tax administration as the Commissioner of Taxes. The Additional Secretary of the Finance Department has been relieved from the additional responsibility of this tax-related post.

The Joint Director of the Urban Development Department in Agartala has been transferred to serve as the SDM of Jampuijala, while the SDM of Kanchanpur has been appointed as the Director of Industries and Commerce, along with leadership responsibilities in key industrial bodies.

Another senior officer who was previously serving as SDM of Kamalpur has been appointed as the CEO of Ayushman Bharat in Tripura, with additional responsibilities linked to health services and district administration.

The officer in charge of the National Health Mission in North Tripura has been moved to a new posting related to state-level health programme management. Meanwhile, the Deputy Director overseeing administrative reforms in Agartala has been posted as SDM of Kamalpur, with additional charge of a Nagar Panchayat.

Two officers serving as SDMs in Belonia and Udaipur subdivisions have also received new appointments, including additional administrative responsibilities in South Tripura.

The order emphasizes that all transfers and postings are made in the interest of public service and will remain effective until further directives from the state government.The notification was issued under the authority of the Governor of Tripura.
