Agartala, 4th February 2025: Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) observed World Cancer Day on February 4, 2025, by organizing a cancer awareness rally from Swami Vivekanand Maidan to Regional Cancer Hospital, Agartala.
The rally aimed to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in fighting this deadly disease. Students, faculty members, and staff of TIPS participated enthusiastically in the rally, holding banners and placards with cancer awareness messages.
In addition to the rally, TIPS continued its annual tradition of distributing fruits among the admitted patients of Regional Cancer Hospital. This thoughtful gesture aimed to bring some comfort and cheer to those undergoing treatment.
By organizing this awareness rally and fruit distribution, TIPS reiterated its commitment to promoting cancer awareness and education, while also showing compassion and support for those affected by cancer.
