Tripura ministers join citizens for PM Modi’s 130th Mann Ki Baat broadcast

Agartala, 25th January 2026:   The 130th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat was marked by enthusiastic participation across Tripura today, with state ministers, party workers and local residents gathering at multiple venues to listen collectively.

At Rajnagar village under Jubarajnagar Mandal, Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy joined grassroots BJP workers at Booth No. 21. In Jagannathpur Gram Panchayat, Booth Nos. 5 and 6, Sudhangshu Das, Minister for SC Welfare, attended alongside party functionaries, remarking that Modi’s “visionary leadership and inspiring messages always motivate us to move forward with renewed energy.”

ARD, Fisheries and SC Welfare minister Sudhangshu Das along with BJP karyakartas listened to the 130th episode of the highly popular “Mann Ki Baat” program of the country’s illustrious Prime Minister, respected Narendra Modi ji, along with the workers of Booths No. 5 and 6 of Jagannathpur Gram Panchayat under the Fatikroy Mandal of the Bharatiya Janata Party. “Respected Modi ji’s visionary leadership and inspiring messages always motivate us to move forward,” Minister added.

In Gamaibari, Booth No. 37, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma listened with his constituency workers, stressing that the Prime Minister’s words underscored citizen participation, social responsibility, and positive thinking in nation-building. At Dharmanagar Mandal, Booth No. 48, Industry and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma joined residents and party workers, noting that Mann Ki Baat reinforces the importance of public involvement and constructive outlook in strengthening the nation.

The broadcast, Modi’s first of 2026, celebrated India’s progress across diverse sectors. It marked ten years of Startup India, with the Prime Minister praising youth-led innovations in artificial intelligence, space technology, and green hydrogen. He urged manufacturers to adopt the “Zero Defect, Zero Effect” vision, while encouraging new voters on National Voters’ Day and highlighting the global relevance of India’s family system. Modi also shared inspiring grassroots stories, ranging from a community kitchen in Gujarat to a youth-led cleanliness drive in Arunachal Pradesh, along with welfare initiatives in Jammu & Kashmir and West Bengal. Environmental themes featured prominently, with emphasis on river rejuvenation in Uttar Pradesh, water conservation in Andhra Pradesh, and the rising global popularity of Indian millets. He further commended the Indian diaspora in Malaysia for preserving cultural heritage, reinforcing his call for citizen responsibility and collective effort toward a strong, self-reliant India.

The collective listening sessions across Tripura reflected the strong connection between the Prime Minister’s message and the people. Ministers emphasized that Mann Ki Baat continues to act as a bridge between governance and citizens, inspiring communities to contribute actively to India’s growth and self-reliance.
