Agartala, 8th August 2026 : Tripura Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Paul on Saturday held a courtesy meeting with several state ministers at his office in the Assembly premises, where they exchanged views on various issues related to the state’s development and public welfare.
The meeting was attended by Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Tinku Roy, and ARDD and SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das.
During the interaction, the ministers discussed a range of matters concerning Tripura’s socio-economic development, welfare initiatives and the way forward for strengthening development activities across the state.
Paul gave due consideration to the views and suggestions put forward by the ministers and appreciated their continued efforts in serving the people of Tripura.
The Deputy Speaker said that coordinated efforts among different departments and public representatives would be crucial for ensuring inclusive development and addressing the needs of the people.
He expressed confidence that such interactions and collective initiatives would continue in the future and contribute towards accelerating the overall progress and welfare of Tripura.
