Tripura Pradesh Congress to revamp Legal and Human Rights Cell ahead of Lok Sabha polls

Agartala, 27th January 2024 :  The Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has decided to restructure its legal and human rights department and form a new committee to strengthen its campaign for the upcoming elections. This was announced by TPCC president Asish Kumar Saha after a crucial meeting of the department at the party headquarters on Saturday.

The meeting was attended by senior Congress leaders, including MLA Sudip Roy Barman and other members of the legal cell.

Saha said that the meeting focused on how to make the department more effective and proactive in addressing the legal and human rights issues faced by the people of Tripura. He said that the new committee will be formed soon and will work closely with the party’s election committee.
