Agartala: July 26. In the recent Covid surge the West District is worst affected as 100 Covid positive cases found from this district today among 431 positive cases in the last 24-hours. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, one more person died and 431 persons tested Covid positive.
After testing the samples of 4,247 people, another 431 people have been positive with corona.The surprising thing this time is that now the cases in South district have also started increasing with the West District. According to the health department bulletin, 100 people were infected in West District, 27 people were infected in Sepahijala District,24 people were infected in Khowai District, 60 people were infected in Gomati District, 94 people were infected in South District, 38 people were infected in Dhalai District, 42 people were infected in Unakoti District, while 46 positive cases in North District.
The positivity rate has now increased to 10.15 percent. 486 people have recovered. The recovery rate has dropped to 96.86 percent. Many patients are also under treatment in the hospital. The total number of active patients in home isolation and AGMC’s Covid Care Center is 2,310.
