Agartala, June 29, 2023: Department of Microbiology, Department of Psychology and Department of Hindi, Tripura University (Central) has organized a special lecture on Science & Spirituality, Yoga Psychology and Neohumanism and Literature (Shrii Shrii Anandamurtijii’s perspective) in their Department Hall separately on June 27 last.
Prof, Shaon Roy Chowdhury, HOD, Department of Microbiology first introduced Acharya Divyachetanananda Avadhuta, Central Public Relations, Secretary, Ananda Marga Pracharak Samgha, Kolkata as chief speaker, who spoke on science and spirituality.
He said when we are doing something on a rational basis, on the basis of logic, and at the same time paying proper attention to the cause-and-effect theory, it is science. In this world everything comes within the scope of this cause-and-effect theory. You see sugar. Now, what is the cause of sugar? The cause of sugar is sugar cane or sugar beet. Where sugar beet or sugar cane is the cause, sugar is the effect. 2000 years ago Maharshi Kanad invented Cause and effect theory. Spiritual practice comes within the scope of science.
He further said about the creation of Mind. As per Shri Shri Anandamurtijii, Mind is the creation of Matter and Matter is the creation of Cosmic Chitta and Cosmic Chitta is metamorphosed form of Cosmic Consciousness. Shri Shri Anandamurtiji or Shri Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar has also invented New theory or Science, which is known as Microvitum. It is the subtlest particle than electron or proton. The position of Microvita is between ectoplasm or electron. It is neither ectoplasm nor electron. It is the duty of scientists to start research work and reach to the final conclusion, So that humanity can be benefited by this theory.
Prof Nutan Kumar Thingujam , HOD, Department of Psychology introduced Acharya Divyachetanananda Avadhuta, who has delivered a talk on Yoga Psychology. He said according to Shri Shri Anandamurtiji there are four types of Psychology – Para Psychology, General Psychology, Biopsychology and apexed psychology.
He also delivered talk on mysticism and Yoga. He further said here Yoga means Unification. When Unit mind merges with the cosmic mind without maintaining its existence it is called real Yoga.
Prof KU Jha, Department of Hindi also introduced Acharya Divyachetanananda Avadhuta, who spoke on Neohumanism and Literature. He said according to Shri Shri Anandamurtiji, an external expression of the internal workings of the mind, a bold and powerful expression of the suppressed sighs of the human heart. The creations or compositions of those who proclaim, “Art for artʼs sake,” cannot be treated as Sahitya. But the aspect of the term hita which leads human beings towards the absolute truth is one and the same for all ages and all countries. Thus literature is that which moves together with society and leads society towards true fulfilment and welfare by providing the inspiration to serve. The statement “Art for arts sake” is not acceptable; rather we should say, “Art for service and blessedness.” He further also highlighted the concept of Neo-humanism.
According to PR Sarkar “The underlying spirit of humanity is extended to everything animate and inanimate is called Neo- humanism.”
