Trust in PM’s leadership grow in Tripura as massive people joining BJP, rejects oppositions: CM

Date:

Agartala, September 19: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday said that the trust and confidence of the countrymen in BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership continues to grow as this is evident in every part of Tripura, as a large number of people are joining the BJP, leaving other political parties.

Dr. Saha said this while addressing the Karyakartas of 34-Rajnagar Mandal under Belonia Sub-division during an organizational and joining programme held at Vivekananda Craft & Cultural Centre.

He extended a warm welcome to around 700 opposition voters from 203 families who joined the BJP.

“The trust and confidence of the countrymen in the Bharatiya Janata Party and PM Narendra Modi Ji’s leadership continues to grow, and it is also reflecting in every part of Tripura as a massive number of people are joining our party. We always follow the principle of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ and ‘Sabka Prayaas’,” said Dr. Saha.

He mentioned that he had visited both the Assembly constituencies more than 8 times, conducting various programmes and door-to-door visits during the recently concluded by-elections.

He pointed out that wherever CPIM has governed, people have experienced suffering and witnessed unruly behavior.

“I pursued my studies in Lucknow but never saw common people suffer during elections. However, we witnessed it in Tripura and West Bengal during the CPIM’s tenure. Now, this government is dedicated to development, and peace prevails everywhere. Our government operates with transparency. Running a corrupt government is impossible as long as Modi is PM,” Dr. Saha affirmed.

Underlining the pivotal role of booth-level Karyakartas, Dr. Saha emphasized the significance of the Pristhapramukh’s responsibilities.

During the event, former MLA Sankar Roy, MLA of Rajnagar Swapna Majumder and others were present.
