TSF demands roman script of Kokborok, hold protest

Agartala: May 26. A protest program was held by the TSF near Circuit House in the capital on Friday, demanding the recognition of writing the Kokborok language in Roman script.

On this day, the workers and supporters of the organization participated in the protest program with banners and placards. The leaders of the organization said that Kokborok language is their mother tongue, they will decide in which script to write their language. They want to write Kokborok language in roman script. Therefore, they demanded that Kokborok language should be recognized to be written in Roman script. Otherwise, they will join the larger movement in the future.
